Moin Gaz :) Why is Frieren's weak stop so impotant ? First the her replica has the same problem. She can not detect mana / aura for a short moment after casting a spell. 2nd Fern was trained by Frieren to suppress her aura. Just like Flamme trained Frieren. But Fern mastered it. Remember Frieren had problems to detect the young Fern. So the tactic was Frieren keeps the replica busy and Fern can ambush the replica with her powerful Zoltraak. It almost worked, but Fern was thrown against the wall and her staff broke into hundreds of pieces. So Frieren had to finish the replica. CYA ;)

Name's Edel, she was the one who specialised in hypnosis magic and who found out the copies didn't have a mind of their own when she tried to use it on Sense's copy. Richter simply didn't know who she was because they hadn't met in neither the first nor the second test. Visuals as gorgeous as always, especially when they decided to flex the smooth animation in the Frieren's POV scene at 17:16. It's rare seeing such fluent animation, and usually it's a telltale sign of an excellent production.
