Astro Boy creator Osamu Tezuka is the legend and a god in the Japanese manga world. Many manga artists admired him and I think he had a very big influence on the development of manga and anime in Japan today. Although Astro Boy is a very cute character, many of his work have a very deep meaning and contain the author's strong wish for peace. Osamu Tezuka is definitely one of the geniuses in the history of Japanese manga.
