2023-12-16 23:23:48 +0000 UTCAlso, Mahito released his Domain within 0.2 seconds, which was a) too fast for Sukuna to react to but more importantly b) Sukuna probably enjoyed seeing Mahito not giving a shit and boldly declaring he'd kill Yuji. It's what Sukuna is all about; doing whatever he pleases and seeing Mahito (unlike Jogo earlier) just going for it probably amused him. As for what was happening with Todo at the end; he basically bluffed. His Boogie Woogie technique is no more, he can't swap places by clapping anymore but made Mahito think so with his whole speech which made Mahito turn and get hit by Yuji. Todo has taken 0 L's this series, he's the GOAT. Yuji pretty much just stopped giving a fuck, just like you said - he pretty much went "Yeah alright, I see it now, I am part of this war and I need to kill curses no matter what". The "good guys" can not afford to show mercy because it might lead to more cases like Nanami or Nobara.
