Overlord 4x03 Reaction

Like you mentioned one of the coolest parts of the show is all the different plot lines that are happening at the same time. A lot of the time they drop important information in very subtle ways though and it's easy to miss unless you go back and re-watch. Can drop you the lowdown on the Slane Theocracy and is all stuff they have said in these moments. The Slane Theocracy is made of up different "Scriptures" and the main ones they have talked about so far are the "Black Scripture" and the "Sunlight Scripture" and they mention in this episode they think Ainz wiped out the Sunlight Scripture. You asked if we had seen them before and yes, the Sunlight Scipture were the group from the first couple episodes of Season 1 that attacked Enri's village and were trying to kill Gazef with their "Angels". Ainz and Albedo do wipe them out. The "Black Scripture" has is the strongest of all the scriptures and they have also shown up in season 1. At the end of the season there is a scene with those priests from this episode meeting. They mention the black scripture were on another mission and ran into a vampire (Shalltear) and they had to use "downfall of castle and country" to mind control it, but the person using the item was injured before they could complete it and they had to run away. The "God Kin" you have seen before, there are two of them a man and a woman and they had a whole conversation in the first episode of season 2 (you may remember one of them playing with a Rubik's Cube). They are also both part of the black scripture. The man was there when Shalltear attacked the black scipture (Shalltear says he is strong and knocks him out of the way when attacking). The Woman was not there, but she asks the Guy who is stronger her or the vampire and he says she is and she goes on a tangent about how thats too bad because she wants to have the baby of somebody who is stronger than her. Clementine is also mentioned by the Necromancer she was working with to be an ex member of the black scripture and that she was fleeing them. They mention in this episode "Windstrider" fled from the theocracy with the crown of wisdom, and they are talking about Celmentine and the item she used on Nfirea. Everything all ties together!
