Saw someone describe Violet Evergarden as "it can be very sad at times, but not depressing". Also "soul cleansing". It is very beautiful and powerful, I would love to see your continued reactions and thoughts on it.

The music the style and the story. This however is one of two anime’s that yanked the heartstrings and brought tears to my eyes, the other being Grave of the Fireflies. I hope that even if you don’t keep reacting to this (But I hope you do) that you do watch it yourself.
