Chapter 113 - The Rest of the Day (Day 7)

The evening passed by a whole lot like the morning had, with nothing too irregular taking place. Though Daniel seemed know he had not been given the whole truth by his family, he didn't seem too care much. He never brought up the clapping sound again, which Nick was thankful for. He knew if the topic came back up, that they would likely all come across as suspicious once again.

Daniel did mention during dinner though that his brother reached out and asked if Jenni could join them. Jenni was Nick's cousin and she was the same age as Lynn at 18. Daniel offered to pick her up from the airport in a couple days. Nick had mixed feelings about seeing Jenni. On one hand he loved his cousin and she was a sweet girl. They had always gotten along with rather well, though they weren't particularly close. On the other hand, he was concerned that she would likely affect the relationship he had developed between his other female family members. He had already been sneaking around behind his dad's back, and obviously she can't go home and tell her parents that their family is committing crazy amounts of incest now, but neither did he want to stop. He knew he would likely need to work on hypnotizing her when the opportunity arrived. Thankfully, Daniel said he would be picking her up in a couple days not tomorrow.

He and Lynn filled Ashley in on everything that had happened in the living room. She was not surprised and even mentioned that she heard the clapping too and knew what it really was instantly. She said she had tried to keep their dad in the room, but eventually he decided to check. They simply got lucky that they finished before he walked into the room and caught them in the act.

They also told Ashley about their big plans for the next day. She agreed to help again, but felt like she was owed a favor. Nick took a long time kissing her all over to show his appreciation.
