Lilypads in London: Kaeru moves to a bigger pond

One of our main priorities for Kaeru as a project is to make sure we can continue to exist and grow, delivering high quality services for a long time to come.

To do this, alongside a brilliant community and fabulous team, Kaeru needs somewhere to run our beautiful code so that you can access our services: a server.

Kaeru stickers are now available!

After much anticipation, the long awaited Kaeru Stickers have finally arrived from the printers!

We have around 200 or so beautiful, holographic effect 5cm (~2in) round stickers to give away, starting with our $5 tier Patrons, partners, and early contributors as a thank you for your support.

Please fill in the form here with your details by the end of February, and we’ll get some lovely shiny stickers sent out to you, anywhere in the world at no additional cost 🙂

Re-evaluating how we allocate funds for 2021

Owing to the changes in the project's financial situation and the advent of the global pandemic, we felt that it's time to reassess how we allocate funds raised by the project, and set out how we do so more clearly.

Up until now, any funds raised in excess of our standard monthly operating costs (now around $80/mo) have been saved up to ensure that we can continue operating well into the future, even in the event of interruption to funding.

Notes on pledges / refunds for those who joined late in September

Hey all -- thank you all so much for your support! It genuinely means a lot to us and we never imagined the project could grow quite so huge.

As mentioned on Discord, we understand the timing and announcement of the Kaeru Duel Beta release may have led to some confusion for new Patrons, as Patreon bills you both upfront when pledging, and from there, every month on the 1st.
