You ask her what she knows about the hotel.

She looks at you, puzzled. "Is that the place which you are from?"

You nod your head, keen on hearing her out.

"There has been a force leaking into this world, a rift of some sorts. The air that surrounds you two are different.. deadly. You two do not belong here; the longer you stay, the less of yourselves you will become. Stay long enough and you will be bound to this reality."

She peers down at you with her red eye, "Your appearance is but a facade of who you are. That curse cast upon you will only grow stronger. If you do not find a cure soon, that spell cannot be undone."

You stare at her. It has not occurred to you that your transformation has not finished. You look down at your scaly hands and scratch at the tough hide before looking at your feet that still retain the resemblance of a lynx. You ask her how to undo the curse but she shakes her head.

"I only sense an intermingled soul bound together loosely. Once that fusion has set, you may never return to the form you once were."

You exchange looks with the bunny who pushes up his glasses nervously. You wonder what exactly could separate you from this look you have taken.
