You walk up, expecting her to greet you. Instead, she stares at you. You tap on the glass before realizing what you are doing. You dig into your pockets and pull out one of the coins. You slot it in and the booth lights up. A music box starts playing and you hear a lovely melody. Her eyes look down at the crystal ball that starts glowing; clouds swirl inside with an image of the carnival in sight. The eye on her bandana begins to glow as she tempts the unseen forces just beyond your eyes.

"On a night so festive, a night so bright, music plays throughout the frights," she sings.

"Follow the time for it leads you straight, but beware what shines, what a terrible fate."

She shutters to a stop and looks up, waiting. You blink, processing what she is saying. You look at her, not quite sure if she knows more than she is leading on.

"W-what does that mean?" you ask in a quiet voice. She doesn't respond.
