It gives me a sense of nostalgia watching you forget characters names (most non book readers took 4 seasons minimum to get it right) and anticipating what is going to happen next. 2023-06-18 17:05:16 +0000 UTCJorah (Daenerys adviser) isn't related to Daenerys he is a Mormont and I don't know if you caught it but in the first season Jeor Mormont (the lord commander at the wall) gave Jon Snow the sword that was intended for his son before he dishonored the family... and the son he is talking about is Jorah.

She can manipulate like nobody's business. The best. For anyone who's seen House of the Dragon, Margery's mother was a Hightower, and the Hightower lady we see in the first few episodes of HOTD was perfectly cast, because she reminds me of Margery!! Edit: the dothraki woman was upset (I think) because her man was killed before they got to safety. Changing everything from the dothraki way to another way could be forgetting him, you might say. A little survivor's guilt mixed with lashing out. Also, my good friend cosplayed as Dany and made that blue dress for herself. She had a friend make a prop Drogon for her shoulder. Looked amazing! Incidentally, they changed the dress from the books; the book version left one breast exposed because that was the style! Sigh. Edit, again: the kingsguard wear white cloaks, have done for hundreds of years. When Renly declared himself king in the books, his kingsguard wasn't white cloaked. It was rainbow. Maybe that will make up a little bit for losing a gay character during pride month. 😊

The show version tells us she was actually excited to marry Robert. She talks about it with Ned in the beginning. She said when she saw him on their wedding day, she felt so lucky and how handsome he was and that everyone wanted to marry him. She only started to resent him when he wouldn't let the idea of Lynanna go and she realised he'd never love her. I try not to throw book tidbits to new viewers (only because some side stories of the book are completely left out of the show and it can confuse people) BUT that's a really interesting take on Brad's observation!

That she is essentially using Sansa as a revenge scheme because of Lyanna and you blew my mind. I have yet to finish the first book but I learned some things that coincide with your theory and i just need to get it out ( No Spoilers) . So prior to being married to Robert and when the Targaryens were still the ruler; Tywin was hand of the king and he tried to betroth Cersei to the Crown Prince Rhaegar ( Dany's oldest brother) and this made Cersei obsessed like she thought Rhaegar was the most beautiful man ever and she was fully intending on leaving Jamie behind for him. However the betrothal didn't work out and Tywin and Cersei became very bitter buttt years later, Rhaegar then kidnaps Lyanna Stark and then Robert starts the war and that leads to everything now but not only did Cersei "love" Rhaegar who ended up wanting Lyanna but then when she got Robert, who also wanted Lyanna.... I never thought of it until you said it but Cersei is probably the craziest bitch but she is quite interesting & complex

Watching their reactions to the plot twists and character deaths was always my favorite 😆I’m so excited for the final episodes of this season. Season 3 and 4 might be my favorites.

2023-06-17 18:01:28 +0000 UTCSer Jorah is not a Targaryen, he’s from House Mormont, of Bear Islands. His dad is Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, Jeor Mormont (who Jon Snow is stewarding). Jorah was exiled from Westeros to Essos for slaving by Ned Stark, but was still acting as a spy for Varys in the beginning before having a change of heart and pledging for Dany.
