Adding Bones to Items in DAZ Studio
Added 2025-08-28 17:38:29 +0000 UTCI've decided to create this video to show how I added posable laces to these new laced boots.
Originally, I had started to record my screen to create another time-lapse video, but after an initial test of the boots I found them underwhelming and stopped that.
I turned around and finished the boots anyways (the lacing was P-P-PAINFUL, and the UV unwrapping brought me untold misery), and it did take quite a while to do so, but I didn't record any of it beyond the early stages.
I decided to, once again, do another outfit for one Erica Deville and looking to record those sessions as well.
It is getting much easier to make simple bending props, but I still have to say weight mapping is still pretty hit-and-miss for me. My goal still remains to be able to make more flowing clothing but that Holy Grail remains out of reach.
