Preliminary Looping Woods release

-New dream area - Looping Woods.

v2 - various minor bug fixes, 2 crashes in ghost tree dialogue,

v3 - made basement accessible without prior knowledge(hope it doesn't sequence break things for those who stumble onto it.)

-Swapped around rusty chest and simple chest locations.
-Fixed the ritual crash
-Removed sparkle from Staff.
-Fixed Harbinger crash
-Removed Painted Key - will be placed in the Lab dream.

The core design is different this time. Most of the gameplay element consists of finding information and processing it into useful instructions, then successfully executing them. There are no corridors or walls that gently push you in the right direction. Of course, as any student of the Histories knows, the Mansus has no walls. :)

Currently the story and other dream areas are disabled. Why?
-Focus on testing new area
-I'm reviewing existing puzzles. This is to correct and rebalance initial structure and to give returning players a fresher perspective.
-I'm also relaxing my stance on pregnancy in game, as waiting until story progression makes sense of it limits gameplay and animations. I think the optimal solution is too treat it as a dream only affliction that is voided upon waking up, for now. As such Brood Maiden(already there) and Harlequin will be coming back early, which I want to add to the earlier maps.

If some of you who are more into the gameplay aspect could please leave a comment on the overall impression and complexity. I'm seriously worried I may have overdone it this time. If you have any suggestions, now would be a good time to make them.

Note that some of the exploration will not have all solutions available as it may rely on other dream areas. Also, real world now has some relevance to puzzles.

Aside from bug fixes, I will be working on other elements for release proper (cafe mechanics, old area revision). Maybe next week? The week after? I'll cut some of the planned changes down if it looks like it will take longer. I really want to get this out before Christmas. I'll refrain from posting the full log for now

Please note I've only done targeted testing so far. An organic playthrough will likely take the weekend. I imagine it's still very buggy. You can speed up the process by playing yourself and posting any errors or irregularities.

I've enabled save states (f5 and f8) for this release. This is highly unstable and will cause various graphical glitches, logical errors and crashes so use only if necessary.

I suggest waiting a few more days until a new release. The current version has the ethereal potion bugged. Otherwise, make sure you download V5 as it has more bug fixes. As for Hydra, 1 and 10 are numerical values you use somewhere. There is no luck element. Park.

Okay so after taking a break due to lack of progress I am attempting this again. I have all journals - page 5. If I am reading 11 and 15 correct to clean crusty key to make rusty key(?) I hope that's right. I need 10 of the hydra false to get 1 hydra true. How? Also how does the cauldron work? Also is there an element of luck to how many wild tongue spawn?

Struggling with finding Crystal Biome, Painted Forest, Invisible chest, the Festival of Life despite what i think is the library. I have up to 16 minus 5 and 11 of the journal pages. If anyone can give Hints would be appreciated.

I encountered a bug when the character has both keys in inventory stacked. Upon entering the shack, both keys are consumed.

The idea of the initial entry is to suggest the key was stolen by one of the slimes. As a heads up, you can just pick it up without triggering the animation if you slowly approach it from the bottom. It's floating inside. The other key is hidden in the firewood, you get that from the basement page. I think. Either way, opening that chest won't help you progress anything on its own.

I must be an Idiot cause for the life of me i can no longer find the second fragile key then. Any hints you can give would be appreciated as the only clue i know is journal entry ??? spare key missing.

There is a library in game. You just forgot about it. You will need page 11 and 15 for the chest.

No, that chest uses a fragile key, same as the hut. There are 2 fragile keys on the map. There's also also another simple lock chest hidden on the map.

Just to make sure I have the crusty key. Which I thought is the key needed to open the chest in hut as that chest shows a 1 next to the key to open it, but that chest wont open. Is this correct?

I cant seem to be able to open the chest buried under the azure flowers even with all the keys in my inventory that i could find(fragile, crusty and strange) and while in the void area the harbinger would crash my game after getting attacked. i also cant seem to find the "folklore" that hints at how to make it rain, mybe i missed it but i found most of the journal pages and other than the mention of the libary, i cant find it.

Honestly, I didn't even register it as a significant puzzle. One of the notes tells you where a spare key is hidden. My suggestions is to follow through what the journal pages tell you. Here's a check list. I'll probably make a poll later to see how much I screwed up. Okay I Downloaded before you updated to v2 Is there a way to open the chest in the Hut yet? Cause i found the key in the tree that ask to pull items free but it doesnt open the chest. NM may have figured it out. Got it to open. NM not what i thought, still dont know how the chest opens.
