But pre-kittyhulking: I've been on a stint of Twin Peaks into X-files, recently, and seeing this glimpse of modern(ish) Americana, the clunky shaped and reliably built Ford, the wild desert that is neither on fire nor with a giant pipeline running through it, the idea of a secretive government agency that isn't just a money laundering scheme, I find myself really charmed by this set up, and all the little details in it. I'm gonna be hootin' and hollering like an imbecile once the paws come out, but until that happens, it's a totally different and still totally enjoyable flavor.
