I think because I said I’m a comic artist they are being super careful. I was thinking that their primary goal is to keep me happy and healthy so I can get back to work and do not cost the government more in disability payments and long term medical care down the road.
I’ll let you all know when I do but even if they do require me to splint it afterwards, I’m going to push for an allowance for a few hours of drawing a day.

I guess since the Gov’t pays both medical, disability, and collects taxes from me they figure it’s better to guarantee I heal up and keep paying taxes rather then risk me costing them surgery, disability payment, and loss of tax revenue for the next 50-60 years. Lol! ... how diabolically Machiavellian but I’m not complaining!
