2026-02-06 15:43:37 +0000 UTCI'm quite disappointed in Alexander the crafter honestly. Wasting such a powerful doppelganger on pure administration seems super wasteful. The "duel me" ability is responsible for a huge amount of Alexander's strength, yet he has almost completely stopped using it. His class combination would be much more suited to being a hunter seeking out unique monsters to steal their abilities. Then there's his crafter side: he's not even doing any crafting at the moment, it seems, which makes those classes a waste. Why not create an administrative doppelganger to handle all this busy work? He wouldn't even need any classes if he's constantly surrounded by allies. He'd still have access to the Psion abilities and metal mind as well as his attributes which is enough to defend himself against a lot. And if you don't give him any classes then he's expandable anyway. Just have him handle talking to people and administering everything.

2026-02-05 21:15:16 +0000 UTCWow, this chapter was awesome! Seriously, never thought I'd be so into banking, but you made it super interesting. And getting those courts and laws in early? Smart move! I'm really hoping to see an educational system next, maybe even a library! Alexander always looks out for the little guy, and setting up a good education system would be huge for everyone, boosting both the people and the economy. Plus, with that 'college of the eccentric' already going, it feels like a natural next step. Also, Alexander the Crafter is doing everything but crafting these days💀He's basically a merchant and a scholar with all the nation-building he's up to. Maybe it's time for him to pick up the merchant and scholar classes 🤣, haha! Can't wait to see what's next!

He doesn't want to culture shock the world, turn it into just a mirror of his old world, and he doesn't want his enemies copying it. A lot of the way crafting works in the world is a mystery and it's very possibly a mage or a high-level crafter of some kind could detect something like radio broadcasts and then figure out how to make them for themselves, or do who knows what with the technology.
