Wanted to let you all know that I'm holding a $200 competition to see who can write the best summary of Jake's Magical Market #1 for use in the sequels!

Why? Because I cannot for the life of me take a 700+ page book I wrote and condense it down into just a few paragraphs. If I could do that, the book wouldn't be 700 pages!

See my reddit post below for more details of how the competition will work. If you're interested in submitting a summary, please post in the reddit thread to let me know (otherwise if nobody responds I'll just slink away and pretend this never happened).

If you don't use reddit, you can message it to me here or on Discord/Facebook and I'll post it in the the thread in a week for you if you want.

DoctorWho coin collecting

haha, this is EXACTLY why I need help! Who decided it was a good idea for me to write such a crazy first book in the series? Most authors woulda dragged everything out over 9 books and milked everyone for all their money. Book 3-6 would just been him wandering around Ambrosia being depressed and working a dead-end job again. Now I gotta take the content of 9 books shoved into one and then shove all THAT down into just a couple of pages/paragraphs? Ughhhhhhhh lol.

Ironically the 2nd book is easier to do this for then the 1st book. I mean the 1st book goes from earth, to card magic survival, to training less survival needs, to kidnapped Maybe civilization building with people? Then we put the book in drive and are teleported to another world that has a whole diffrent genre of dystopia. We then go and join a mercenary band and go to yet another planet and learn this magic system was cultivation the whole time! Then the ending with time travel and gods and everything. The 1st book is quite far arching. The second book is easier because *redacted* πŸ˜‰
