She's in your base, killing your dudes lol. I guess I have a thing for invincible guns girls, but in this instance, the gun girl is most definitely not on the side of right. I'm of the opinion that Lara Croft, as a disgustingly rich, gloried grave-robber is a weird choice to try and make into a sympathetic heroine how the modern games have tried to. It makes sense to me at least, that given an artifact of immense power, she'd use it for selfish gain... which she's doing in this comic :P

The scripts might make it all click, but having claimed the alien artefact in the story from last year, she's morphed it into a sand-coloured suit as camoflage then raided the base of the now deceased rebel leader. When there, rather than stop the plot to overthrow the country's leadership, Lady Croft brainwashes the new leader and makes him into her pawn while letting him carry on. She's the kind of aristocratic imperialist who'd probably enjoy exploiting and entire country for herself, so here we go!

I also wanted to really push myself and see if I could reach a new level of realism in a scene like this, I like the results personally!
