I thought Bashir’s disarming of Melora was fantastic. I wish I had that sharp wit in situations like that. This was a good episode. Perhaps there was some little something missing to give it more, but it’s such a short time to create the relationship and story that it’s quite impressive we got what we got.

2025-09-24 18:30:14 +0000 UTCI enjoy this one simply because it shows some of the realities a disabled person faces and also what people who aren't disabled may go through with how they view and/or treat the disabled around them. The scene with Sisko, Dax and Bishir talking about Malora's capabilities for the mission and then having her come in and get pissed that they are talking about her seemed very genuine and grounded in reality. Solid B for me.
