It's the Mii Maker you know and love except now it's in Blender
I made this as user friendly as I could. You don't need to be a Blender pro to use this, check the directions for some helpful shortcuts. Just choose the parts you want to use, decide where you want them, and change their color. It's already rigged and animated too.
Updated 8/11/2023 Requires Blender 3.5 or 3.6, some features do not work in 4.0 right now Do not redistribute
The full version includes 373 blocks from Minecraft version 1.20 The free version includes 32 blocks Use the links below to learn how to use BlockBlender.
I like to use these for coloring low-poly characters and other 3D models.
The small size helps keep your files lightweight.
Make sure you set the color interpolation to "closest", if the program you're using gives you the option. This will help maintain the hard edges between pixels like is shown in the thumbnail.
Download the PDF and print it out or use it on you phone or computer. You can also use the Google Doc link above if you don't want to download anything.
This was made in Blender 2.93 and is not made to work in other programs. It is a simple IK rig with switches that allow you to turn the IK off. The feet have pivot and roll controls, for easier walk cycles. There is no face rig, but the texture for the face can be easily changed by updating the included texture.
This is a simple mouth rig I made in Blender. It was made to accompany a tutorial on how I made it, you can watch that video here: https://youtu.be/6nmT123wVe4
Contains the constraint examples, leg model fully rigged, as well as a leg that only has deforming bones. I'm making this free, so people can follow along more easily, if you appreciate it and find value in this, please donating when you download. Thanks.
Updated 6/14/2021 Here are some of the common node groups I use all the time. You'll see me rebuild these in many of my tutorials. Save yourself some time by getting the groups instead of remaking them.
