I was referring to after they finish all of Star Trek, as is their current plan to do.

2024-09-27 02:08:16 +0000 UTCFor more Star Trek stuff, you absolutely cannot pass up Galaxy Quest.

2024-09-27 01:39:45 +0000 UTCI like the key scene reaction for items that I've seen but am not particularly excited about; it's a nice feature. Things to watch about Star Trek: The Trekkies documentary (Oct. 18, 1997), Futurama Trek episode (April 21, 2002), Black Mirror Trek episode (Dec. 29, 2017). Also there's a DS9 retrospective that's quite good from 2018. Worth watching Shatner's famous sketch from SNL in 1986 on your own time.

2024-09-26 13:28:53 +0000 UTCSame! It's actually quite similar to Star Trek in many ways. Lots of good discussion to have on each episode.

2024-09-26 03:35:30 +0000 UTCSupernatural....I was there from the first episode to the last episode (15 seasons). Sam and Dean...Our Wayward Sons. I would be there for every reaction.

2024-09-26 03:26:17 +0000 UTCX-files & Supernatural, thinking way down the line after you're done with all of Star Trek, could be fantastic meaty shows to pivot from after (instead of a rewatch which at least for me doesn't hold much appeal).
Paul
2024-09-26 00:35:06 +0000 UTCX-files very much should be watched as a whole, even if it means it will take you quite the time to watch it all, just as with Doctor Who

2024-09-25 21:23:51 +0000 UTCI agree with James and others. Do not chop up The X-Files in order to watch random episodes. When the time is right, watch in release order. The first 7 seasons are television at it's best.

2024-09-25 21:00:40 +0000 UTCX-Files is good. Fringe is better.. But you need to watch the whole thing.

2024-09-25 20:05:29 +0000 UTCAgain, I recommend "The Changeling" (1980). In my opinion, with the exception of "Poltergeist", it's the best movie in it's genre FYI, Baltar from 70's BSG plays a small part.

2024-09-25 19:55:56 +0000 UTCYes, you are missing out on a lot by not seeing other star trek stuff, aka behind the scenes. The problem is, you can't, not without getting major spoils.

2024-09-25 19:50:08 +0000 UTCWe’ve both seen Krampus but we may do more of a commentary rewatch of it because it’s such a fun time

2024-09-25 18:27:23 +0000 UTCKrampus is also great for Xmas horror.

2024-09-25 18:26:39 +0000 UTCFor more Star Trek stuff, would recommend the official theatrically released “Trekkies” documentary from 1997. Should be watched during season 6 of DS9. For Christmas horror, would recommend “Silent Night, Deadly Night” from 1984 - and it’s only 85 minutes long🎄

2024-09-25 18:24:58 +0000 UTCI missed it live too, still nice to be able to listen back.
