2025-10-28 11:11:08 +0000 UTCNot sure how the Grimm Nuckelavee (right out of your own folklore) may ultimately dispose of humans/faunus it kills and consumes, but one of Ren’s father’s arrows was found, and it is riddled by weapons that failed to kill it. It’s like they are kept part as trophy’s, part just forgotten annoyances which come loose and fall off to scatter around it’s lair. You wondered before about Kline and his,…peculiar nature. Well, if Weiss’ mythical inspiration is Snow White, where in that tale do we have representations of personalities and attitudes? So, if many members of Remanent’s defenders are taken from “The Wizard of Oz” Qrow is The Scarecrow, Ironwood is The Tin Woodsman, and Professor Leo Lionheart is…? I don’t think Qrow knew about Ozpyn’s abilities, particularly based on his earlier statements and saying the Oz was always wise and knew a whole lot. But Qrow is THE intelligence agent of the group and he has seen a lot. So with no body recovered, but this unknown kid approaching him out of the blue, talking to a voice in his head, knowing about The Cane,…”well guess that means it’s a Wednesday, good to see ya Oz.” I’m caught up with you now at this point in regards to the show. To get control of the White Fang may not necessarily involve killing Adam, much as you may want it, but getting a) the current leader, Sienna Khan, to see reason; and/or b) convince the rank & file White Fang that Adam is a total psycho who doesn’t care who he burns for his “revolution”, including making any member of the Fang an unfortunate martyr for the cause.

Hugin and Mugin, Qrow gets a lot of jobs/tasks from Ozpin to gather information. Qrow /used/ to work with his sister, who has since departed ways with Oz. Odin (Oz) was down to one raven (Qrow), who is now 'blind'. As for Salem still being disappointed... well, she gave him a task and he failed to complete it. Anything else is an excuse because she Gave Him A Task. Give a warm welcome to Nikki the Nuckelavee. And by warm I mean burn it with all the fire. Nikki gets the 'coveted' position of 'Nopeville express' along with two other Grimm types you get to later. Animation note you were probably... a bit distracted to pick up on. Nikki's jerky animation was done by the animators playing around with the shots (I assume they mean in Maya engine separately) and Kerry liked it enough to reflect it to the whole thing. Yay? Still the music going from a reprise of Boop into Home for the last part with Ruby has never once failed to cause tears. Home is a very slow song, but it just fits them all so much. The 'other letters' are unlikely to have been intercepted. Remember Ruby honestly thought she could walk across the continent in two weeks. Also letters were already 'unreliable'.
