There’s an Easter Egg in the “Astro Amusements” front page. “Made with 100% Rock Paper” and the brother is holding…? Reggie’s Vending is not just limited to medical. In that cyberpunk style it is your corner store, but instead of being on shelves it’s in vending machines or stored in the back when someone pays the right machine. 32:17 That QR code next to Sparky as he lounges on the wheelhouse roof, it is functional. From what I can tell of Guinevere: the original is the one we saw at the start and “locked in the tower, playing games and pretending to not be afraid”, which I will take as being was running simulations and scenarios from which the corporation developed their stories and other media properties. She is also the Ur-Guinevere, the one from which all others sprang. So the “park host” Guinevere’s, along with data sharing so that customers will have a familiar interaction no matter which Guinevere they encounter, those interactions are also fed to the original and used to help refine product development. Not sure how many times the original has escaped, but this last time seems longer. And as the snippets at the opening are showing, Park Planet’s creative content and general corporate health have been in decline since. When Andi and Frankie snuck in, they encountered a “park host”. The spasm in the finger being a sympathetic reaction to what the Ur-Guinevere was experiencing. But Frankie taking an active interest in that Guinevere’s well-being in repairing the twitch brought her into focus for the original, and probably made the spasm stop for a time at the source. And for that the quiet and heartfelt whisper of “thank you”. For recognition and interaction; so the Guinevere “park hosts” will have access to biometrics on park visitors as well as company personnel and the planetary population. Figure also that any park visitor will have data mining done on them. If a Child A goes up and interacts with Guinevere G-7490-2 it will have already access to this child’s own preferences to the character, the media, which version, favorite movies and products,…everything. And then the whole interaction is saved. So later when this child meets Guinevere Y-9247-4 it will seamlessly response as if it were the same Guinevere and that interaction is catalogued. When Frankie and Andi encountered their Guinevere and they didn’t respond with their names, a quick biometric scan was done and compared to the planetary database. Viola! They have their names. “Exotics” is likely the fluid used in the biomechanical components. And incidentally, the production of which causes the industrial waste contributing to Blue Lung. Sparky himself can be seen as a very Long John Silver figure, and Frankie his (former) Jim Hawkins. That was also very dumb of Andi to get careless for that stun baton. Sparky isn’t packing that shoulder rig and “accessories” as a fashion statement after all. And given Andi’s rather haggard state, that blue seems to come from her. Now hopefully they’ll get enough of a budget next time so we can see a fully animated fight with Guinevere so we can understand how they took apart Sir Arthur.
