I was vague but I was referencing this artificial inflation of posts, which prior to paying for access has the appearance of frequent content uploads.

2024-06-16 18:19:59 +0000 UTCWhen my SO at the time suggested watching GoT, I didn't know anything about it. I read up on it as much as I could or dared (*spoilers!*) to get a feel for the world and the franchise. I decided to watch it. I was not disappointed. Martin has created a hell of a thing!

I just thought about it last night when I realized I need to start recording DS9 on my DVR when it comes on so I will have the recording from S1 E1 (unfortunately I missed recording the first couple on the channel I record Trek, maybe they will show up on BBC). It won't be that long when it will be a DS9 and a TNG airing each week or some combo of that.

This might give me the opportunity to get into Game of Thrones as I’ve never seen it. I did try to get into it but gave up after a couple episodes. Love the reactions and keep up the great work.

2024-06-16 03:08:46 +0000 UTCIDK if you've watched it or if you plan to even, but assuming you will be seeing DS9 - I do wonder if you will watch Babylon 5 as well? It's sad that those 2 great series got some toxic fans who hate the other one, but both are fantastic (I won't get here into "plagiarism" accusations, because the only somewhat plausibly provable stuff would be some superficial similarities - and it doesn't take away from how much casts and crews of both shows worked SUPER hard). But despite similarities, both are also great examples of opposite styles of storytelling for TV. And different type of genre of Sci-Fi etc. etc. Not to mention if an actor played a role in TNG or DS9, they likely had some in B5 and vice-versa. Almost forgot - thank you for the schedule.

2024-06-16 01:10:47 +0000 UTCYour number of posts is relative to the content on a 1:2 ratio (reaction + discussion), which I personally would not consider to be excessive in any way. On the email front, I made a dedicated folder and a rule that all Patreon emails go to said folder which took, at most, 20 seconds. (I have all notifications disabled on PC and Phone, so I'll notice the dedicated folder growing as I'm always using Outlook.)
