March 2023 Pack and a small update

Alright, so, as I had explained in my last post, I have been trying to change my work process quite a bit lately. And I certainly did.

I was initially going to post my pictures one by one, but as I started giving more thoughts it occured to me it could be better value for everyone if I instead gave it a bit more time&effort and made "digital packs" each month or two months (depending on my workload and concurrent commissions).

Sketches of upcoming illustrations

Hello. Today I'd like to talk a bit about my process, which I'm trying to tweak a bit.

So, usually what I would so is work on an a new illustration from start to finish in one go, putting aside eventual ideas I would have along the way until I'm done with my current pic.

So this piece was quite challenging... for my computer lol. I forgot to turn off the "record timelapse" feature and the .csp filesize ended up being 2GB and took forever to save&backup each time I pressed CTRL+S. That is, until I noticed.

Figured I might still save the timelapse, since it had been created anyway, and I must admit it's nice to be able to rewatch my own whole process as a video.

Putting my patreon/art activities on hold

I have recently landed a significantly bigger art gig, and as such I will be busy for the next two months and won't be able to produce much in the realm of NSFW artworks. 

So I am putting my activity on hold for the next two months, and of course, none of you will be charged on either august 1st nor september 1st. (Unless the deal somehow falls through and I am forced to go back to my regular nsfw activity, of course.)

Lilith Aensland (Vampire Savior / Darkstalkers)

Really sorry I haven't posted much, or almost at all, last month. I felt really down and just couldn't get anything done in my life. I should be back to a more regular productive pace this month though - anyway, starting off with a slightly more-detailed-than-usual drawing of Lilith, from the fighting game Vampire Savior.

I've made two patreon-exclusive variants this time, with no fluid(s). It's not much, but I'll try to do more of that in the future.

Next month won't be charged

I haven't been very productive this month again (sigh), so I don't feel it's fair to charge for it. You won't get charged on May 1. Charging will resume on June 1 if I can get back into a more regular peace of at least 3~4 artworks per month.

Just watched JJK a week ago - actually binge watched the whole thing in a day and then went to watch the movie a few days later. Honestly it was a very run-of-the-mill shonen, but still very enjoyable thanks to the amazing animation quality and nice characters.

And Miwa is super cute, so here she is.

Commissioned DnD OC

As the title says, this was a commission for a DnD OC (original design is not by me).

Probably won't be able to do anything else before the month ends, slow month I guess, but I've been thinking about a lot of things lately so... this might not change. If next month is as slow as this one, I likely won't charge for March. Just a heads up.

The BRS franchise has always had a special place in my heart - on one hand, I've always loved its characters and their edgy design, on the other hand, I feel like all of the adaptations it had thus far has been terrible. Game was barely okay, mangas have all been meh, anime was trash, only the OVA had some redeeming quality like being faithful to huke's original designs.

And now there's this upcoming "BRS Dawn Fall" anime coming up soon, with a terrible redesign of every single characte...

And here we go, the last girl of the trio is finally done. She's a bit more shy/inexperienced as the other, but fully ready to learn nonetheless.

Here's another Misaka Mikoto commission, by the same guy as last time, actually. A true  connoisseur I must say.

Anyhow, enjoy, and now I need to find what to draw next. Finally done with that wave of commissions I've been having for the past few months.

Well, had to take a small break last week since I was feeling quite down for lots of personal reasons, but I'm back for now. I still need to work on a personal project I talked about a few weeks ago so I'm not sure how productive I'll be in terms of fanarts until the end of this month, and I may need to halt payments next month altogether as I'm going to have to work a bit on some side jobs commissions, but anyhow, I'll try to get at least one extra piece done before november.
