I ended up playing the game out of order because I wanted to see you finish Taku’s route, so I had a net negative view of him as a character, and I don’t think there’s anything in his route that really changed that lol. It’s interesting to hear your thoughts on the presence of pain in the sex scenes and the overall euphoria episodes. Some bad ends and routes deliver on that more than others (Madarame lol) but it’ll be interesting to see what you think about all of that after playing the final route. You’ve already made the decision but I’d play Madarame’s route for the shortest and most action packed option, or Fujieda’s for the closure for a second play through . Rei’s is like the longest in the game and it got tedious enough that I didn’t finish it.

For me his route was only 3rd in terms of story and pacing (Madarame's route will always be the worst in my eyes). Though revisiting his route after completely finishing the game does make me appreciate his route a little more, as a standalone it has a lot of weaknesses. And I'm also devastated that we never got to see Taku in his full glory 😤, his sex scenes were definitely the most underwhelming out of all of them. I think that the whole drug development plot got in the way of Taku's route too much, because we barely got to spend time with him because he's always occupied.
