November Update

hey hello hi K O N I C H I W A its been a while since i told yall what the fuck is going on

So basically what was supposed to be 2 weeks off turned into a month which turned into a month and a half and has turned into 2 months of my "absence" except yall literally see me every week between slow damage and shipping wars and 3ER and Natz Casts and the final unboxing video so HAVE I REALLY BEEN GONE?! Publicly yes although honestly somehow ive made more fuckin adsense in each of the past 2 months than i have during most individual months ive been working this year SO ID BE LYING IF I SAID IM NOT RELUCTANT TO COME BACK LMFAO. Shoutout the scums wish and oddly the citrus video for overperforming and allowing me to financially step back lmfao am i a yuri channel now? No. But we'll talk about whats coming.

I will be back in december BUT it will be a while and the reasoning for that is less "im still off" and more "the sponsors want specific dates that are middle and end of the month so alas here the fuck we are: logistically delayed". Ive technically been "back to work" the past two weeks but that was to in part catch up on editing work i had on the back burner during my video SPRINT between august and september and also to start working on some future shit but that is caught up now and ill discuss it more laterrrr.

This update is going to cover the videos coming out in december as well as what will be coming in january.

December

So the two videos coming out are the same two fuckin videos i said id be doing for a few months now but one may change depending on one sponsor. I'll outline the deetz below.

The first video is the one i wanted to do for halloween that then got pushed to black friday and now has been pushed to December 15th cause that's when the sponsor wants it up. The sponsor is DLsite, some of you may be familiar as they sell doujinshi digitally. The video is going to be on Bible Black lmfaooo FINALLY. Frankly im pissed at myself for missing two dates that couldve coincided with this topic cause the timing and references would have been sublime. Initially doing bible black for halloween could of course been full of "nothing scarier than straight men" jokes and the idea of Bible Black Friday really excited me. Alas covid and my LIFE had other plans so here we are. Not 100% sure on what exactly the video will DO, the idea is to ASMR react to every episode of the three(?) ova series like how i did in the killing stalking video but the video broadly will be moreso about the hypocrisy in criticisms of BL containing elements like dubcon and highlight that straight anime is always going to depict infinitely more controversial sexual and "problematic" elements albeit i am fine with all of it in all the things cause theres actual shit to worry about in the real world (fair warning i am VERY angry in general after the US election so i may come back a TAD more aggressive than usual). This video will be both the main discussion video with what i just outlined but patrons will also get the full bonus video of all my reactions to the OVA, I will likely only have a few clips in the actual video of my reactions.

Second video is of course the Yuri!!! On Ice Effect and the sponsor is WWWave/Coolmic once again. However there is a chance the topic may change depending on how they feel about it so if that happens ill push this off once more but i hope i dont have to. If i do i will likely push it off to pride since i intend to do a bunch of shorter videos for FujoFeb25 and a "video essay" doesnt fit in with my plans.

Natz Cast for December is The Kings Avatar and will go up on the 6th. I already discussed season 3 this past summer for 3ER but this was filmed before season 3 was even announced to be releasing this year so it contains my full thoughts on the series before that. #MyFavoriteDanmei LMAOLMAOLMAO

Slow Damage continues thru december, it is nearing the end but will not end until next year.

Shipping Wars will wrap before the end of december ONE MORE CATEGORY TO GO and then the Winners Category to wrap shit up (remember you can go back and vote in all the polls). Final video will go up new years eve.

3 Episode Ruling Podcast will be up January/February depending - SO MANY NEW SHO-ROS COMING NEXT SEASON.

January

I always take january off to work on Fujoshi February and next year will be no different. That being said, I will be releasing an extra special video only here on patreon during that month that im hoping to bang out before the end of this year once the two sponsored videos are done. Additionally there will be an extra special podcast but more on that in a second.

The Patreon Exclusive video will be on my Top 10 Anime OP & ED of All Time. The video will highlight my top 10 both OP and ED (so 10 for each) in order and will contain BOTH my thoughts and discussions about them but also the full OP/ED sequences HOPEFULLY. Talked about this last update but Ive already started working on it. NARROWING DOWN HAS BEEN SO FUCKIN HARD AND IVE GIVEN MYSELF CONSECUTIVE HEADACHES FROM THE AMOUNT OF BAWLING MY EYES OUT THAT IVE DONE SO I HOPE YALL WILL BE ENTERTAINED AND FIND SOME NEW FAVORITE ANIME BECAUSE OF IT LMFAO. I am stepping back from it for now as i have about 15 OP narrowed down and all 10 ED decided so i will pick it back up and finish end of december with a january release. I will also have honorable mention sections for each category with shorter clips of the honmens.

Additionally the Natz Cast for January will be available to ALL patrons for once. The reason for this is partially to promote Natz Casts and partially because its a fairly popular anime some of you may have heard about called Naruto and it broadly touches on my more detailed history of being an anime fan and the phases of anime consumption Ive partaken in - so really its a Natz Cast and a KrisPOddCast combined in one. Shot the podcast over the summer, finally got around to editing it this past week - it is fuckin LONG and it doesnt even cover shippuden.

I may also film a Q&A / AMA for january because i havent done one in a while, will let yall know when i know.

Fujoshi February I am still considering doing a "vlogmas" style approach however will likely do every other day or every 3 days, will decide this in january. May have a sponsor for the whole month but that is TBD ATM.

Slow Damage will wrap up next year however... I have decided to not follow through with doing a Camp Buddy re-play FOR NOW. There's 1000 reasons for this but all I will say for now is that I want to try something NEW as a perk namely Anime Episodic Reactions #LikeABasicBitch. I am gunna be honest I am no fan of reaction channels and have a lot of opinions about reaction channel culture but the past few playthrus I have done have felt really tedious and with technological issues on top of everything specific to playthrus I am just in the mood to try something NEW for money like the whore i am. More on this in January when I get around to planning out 2025 cumulatively but if you are OTR w/Gene Tier know that yall will still be getting a Slow Damage second route regardless because it has been promised. I will say that the last time i checked the polls a few months ago for the second route, yall and everyone else each chose different route decisions so I will be doing a second poll some time in january to decide again because I dont like the idea of a split decision when some people are already paying for the second playthru but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Other than that i will also have my 2024 wrap up some time in december or january like always, will be less elaborate than last year obviously.
