As someone who adores CLAMP manga (pRoBlEmAtiC!!! stuff and all) it infuriates me that people read like, half of one series and are like "oh...:/ this is too complicated/problematic/gay for my tastes" like THAT!! IS WHAT! IS GREAT ABOUT CLAMP! Like sorry some of ya'll are weak but I am NOT. Also I fully left it vague on which "Doumeki" it was because one, I wanted to see your reaction and two, all flavors of DouWata are good flavors. It is SO deserving and I am honored they won! Gotta continue the CLAMP vibes and go with the old fashioned Touya and Yukito from Card Captor Sakura!

I have xxxHolic as one of my favorite series, even though I've been pushing not finishing the second season for years (my baaad lmao) because I didn't want it to end. You've convinced me to retake the series and then start the manga. I also grew up watching Tsubasa and CCS and the read manga around the same time lmao. I've always found CLAMP stories interesting, so I'd like to hear about your CLAMP journey since you sound passionate about it.

The comedy on the series is not for everyone and the P on the series may stand for problematic by today's standards but I loved the series years ago. I agree with rakugo, I love the present day, very little interest in the past. I think season 2 is based in the present so maybe I'll just skip to that season after reading summary. And gosh, I'd love to do a revisit Clamp, but more for the reason that a lot of their more "innocent" series weren't ones I watched. I was the weirdo with X and xxholic in my circles XDD Excited to see where these wars take us! This is so much fun~
