Suck It Up September (Monthly Update)

September has not started yet but I dont even remember the last time I made an update and i think i say that every time so lets just assume ive never made an update ever.

ANYHOO~

For once i have a themed title for one of these updates and while this does not apply to video topics it does apply to the self imposed BLITZ of videos i have decide to force myself to make back to back to back over the course of september and i figured i might as well give yall an update before i go drown myself in content creation for a month. In regards to what is coming, it shall be explained as follows:

Citrus Video (FINALLY)

Currently in the ending scripting stages of this one, it has taken longer than i thought but it is what it is. The video will be about the most controversial for no reason Yuri anime, discussing why i personally believe it was so controversial especially as a yuri title and ill also brain vomit about my thoughts on yuri including what i have seen, discuss cute girls doing cute things and might even trigger a generation by talking about lolis DEPENDS ON MY MOOD IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS LMAO. This will be out around the 9th of september and once its done im heading straight into my next video which is:

Scums Wish Video (FINALLY AGAIN)

After years of talking about doing it im finally starting my rewatch of scums wish tonight and will be releasing a video containing discussion related to it for Bisexual Visibility Day. It is not the focal point of the video, the video is honestly just in the brainstorming stages atm since im currently swimming in yuriland but it WILL be part of whatever i have planned (cant think about it too much rn cause im entirely writing this update due to a current brain fart with the citrus video and i dont need my wires more crossed than they already are LMAO). Will go up the 23rd of september and will also potentially be sponsored by DLsite... im still going back and forth so it could change but the video is going up even if the sponsorship falls thru or they waste my time. Then the third video in this SPRINTING work trilogy will be ANOTHER video ive wanted to do for YEARS:

The Yuri On Ice Effect (idr if this is a "FINALLY")

This video is a concept ive wanted to touch on for many many years especially due to the shifting landscape of BL and adjacent anime as well as the rise of puritanism and more mainstream antifujo/antiBL sentiments. The concept is centered around not only revisiting one of my all time favorite anime and arguably one of the most IMPACTFUL anime of the last decade but also sharing my viewpoint on how yuri on ice shifted the landscape of anime consumption especially in regards to anything anime-related involving boy/boy ships canon or otherwise. Ill touch on how BL consumption changed, ill touch on how homophobes consumption of anime has changed, ill talk about how yuri on ice effected banana fish's delayed fame, ill talk the tumblr porn purge of 2018 and ill even talk the yuri on ice to killing stalking pipeline (probably, idr what i have listed in the doc its been actual years). Entirely a subjective historic recounting as well as personal hypotheses(?) that will likely also include my personal feelings on the anime itself as well as how YOI was actually fairly instrumental in forming what my channel is today. I'll be diving into this video headfirst right after the Scums Wish one because i have a set release date of October 6th aka the date the first episode of the anime aired back in 2016 (might need to double check this). Topical since Ice Ado was cancelled this year, itll be nice to get this one off my chest.

FIN (not really, theres a few other things)

Thats the sprint, back to back to back videos with little breaks, might take time off in october to recover but we shall see, depends how fast or slow editing/scripting take. All have set deadlines so i dont have much wiggle room but im somewhat excited to get to the latter 2 videos, just gotta push thru the current one.
