haven't watched far enough in, but hope you do pick up The New Battlestar Galactica, Both Mini-Series, and full series. I think it fits good for those with a love for 90s Trek, as it was done by Ronald d. Moore who is a key part of 90s Trek.

Nathan Cline

I have watched TNG through from start to finish several times over except for this episode which I turned off back in 88 due to it being a clip show and never came back to it. This was the first time, so thank you guys for ensuring it wasn't experiencedd alone.

Lee Trayler

I would strongly advise against that, for reasons I can't get into.

Anthony Bernacchi

imagine how cool it would be if they watch the next season finale on stream.

Tim b

The parts that aren't clips from past seasons are actually pretty decent character interactions.

tyranusfan

Let's be real, this entire episode is a 'not intended for TV' moment.

Ullrich Pfeiffer

Skip it entirely.

Juan Tutrífor

Love the live broadcast... a shame this was the finale you had to watch.

Lindsey

The one part that still makes me chuckle... "Let it go, Data, maybe it likes Humans more than androids." "If you are correct, you are placing yourself in grave danger." "Well, I'm counting on those great android…" (The vine suddenly lashes out, but Data catches it.) "…reflexes of yours."

Firekrys FWO

I just refreshed my memory looking at the season 3 episode list. Damn, things get GOOD

Eric Singer

To be fair, Troi was telling Pulaski what he was feeling, otherwise how would she know

David Kunard

Eleven and a half minutes! Seemed like 5 last night! haha

Dude.

JD Nevesytrof

Should we start telling them that the season 3 finale sucks? To set their expectations? 😁😈

tyranusfan

I stopped watching TNG regularly after season 2. At that time it didn't seem possible that the show would develop the way it did and become as iconic as TOS had been. A season 4 episode that I caught half-way through persuaded me the series had developed enough for me to committ to TNG again. Season 3 doesn't explode out of the blocks, but you will both notice that the show markedly improves. An average episode from now on is equal to a better than average season 2 episode for example.

Imagine being 15yrs old and watching this episode live with commercials, knowing that was it for three long summer months. I remember thinking if it never came back, I would be okay. Clips shows were considered cheap filler even back then.

Look closely at Data in his few scenes.. I swear his makeup isn't applied correctly to his neck and you can see Spiner's pink skin showing through.. not only that, I think his chest hair is peeking up out of the top of his shirt. Look at him when he's talking to Picard after beaming back up. This is totally a 'not intended for HD' moment

James Bottas

I suppose I really should watch the uncut ST V reaction. I watched the movie once last month. I think I've recovered enough to watch it again.

KatWithAttitude

Yes, they did.

Matt G Cowart

Yes

Josh (Target Audience)

Did they hit 20?
