Our goal for 2024 is to reach 1000! That’s heavy growth, but considering we’ve gone from 200 to 500 in around 5 months we think we can do it!
We want to announce the goal soon and set a realistic condition for content we will make once we reach it. If you have ideas of something that would entice more people to join the Patreon leave a comment and let us know!
As always if there are other suggestions for what you’d like to have on Patreon you can let us know that as well!

Hey Alex and Josh. Fifty year old life-long Trekkie here. My best friend since elementary school introduced me to Star Trek on the playground in the fourth grade in the early 80’s. He also introduced me to your YouTube channel a few weeks ago and I quickly started devouring your TNG first-time watch-throughs and discussions. He and I regularly text each other about your reactions and opinions on TOS and TNG, most of which consists of how fresh and outstanding we find your content to be (and without decades of online toxic fandom influencing your opinions). You also remind us of being teens experiencing every TNG episode for the first time back in the 80’s/90’s. Our daily texting interaction now consist of conversations like, “Man I can’t wait for Alex and Josh to experience “X” in episode “Y”, season “Z” of TNG or DS9!” “Did you catch what they said about “X”?! I can’t wait for their response to that reaction down the road in season “Y”! I’ve enjoyed both of your takes so much that I subscribed to this Patreon just last week. Since then I’ve sat down for dinner a number of times with you guys to watch a TOS movie or end my evening with some uncut reaction Target Audience TOS or TNG episodes/discussions. Thank you both so much for creating this fantastic community I’ve regretfully only recently discovered. Glad I can contribute to your growing fanbase! Also, I’m applying the peer-pressure on my best friend almost every day to subscribe. Keep on Trekking, fellas! Really looking forward to revisiting all the ST content with you - I have yet to find a place/discussion where you outline just what that will mean for the (at this rate, years) to come. I'd be here just to watch the raging debates that would come from the question "Which content should we do next?" I'm sure everyone else here also has a list in their mind of what they'd prefer to watch along with you, and I'm 100% positive almost no one would say "every star trek series and episode" because the Venn diagram of love for everything after TNG is incredibly far from circular. You two are enjoyable and react with intelligence and honesty. Thanks for inviting us to the experience.

I cannot WAIT for you to start watching season 3. I actually quite like seasons 1 and 2 but once 3 hits it is like a completely new show, in the best ways. It's kind of shocking how wobbly the first 2 seasons can be even with some great episodes in there. From season 3 on it's a well oiled machine.

I get so cynical about all of the me-too channels out there who basically caught on to Star Trek as a gimmick to get viewers. The first is usually the best, and that is certainly true for The Target Audience. Bravo!

For a suggestion, I know you mentioned you don't want a tier where an individual can select a movie for audience-cut films. I understand your stance on this completely and I support it.. My suggestion is what about doing a side movie poll every so often where there is a theme to the choices. For example, maybe a poll of animated films, or a specific genre like Westerns or "Classics"? I've enjoyed most of the movie reactions you guys have done so far, but it is clear just due to the target audience (no pun intended) of the channel that polls tend to favour Sci-fi films. On that same note, maybe have a "redemption" poll every now again where films that didn't make the cut can have another run (#justicefortombstone ;)) Anyways, keep it up! Love all the content. LLAP and all that.

Also for it to be worth devoting our limited time to, we would probably price it out of what most people would be willing to pay, although that’s pure speculation obviously.
