2023-07-02 19:49:53 +0000 UTCAbout the original Shore Leave, William Blackburn, who usually played the silent Lieutenant Hadley next to Chekov or Sulu on the bridge, was a professional ice skater. He was able to borrow the White Rabbit costume from Ice Capades for free. However, he was so claustrophobic that he had a hard time wearing the costume until the rabbit head was made detachable with Velcro. He said that wearing the Gorn head in was even worse.
