UPDATE REGARDING PATREON TIERS (TL;DR at bottom)

We launched our Patreon last year, and shortly afterwards, we unveiled the $2 TEST AUDIENCE tier. This was designed for Patrons who wished to explore Patreon or wanted to contribute without necessarily being interested in our uncut reactions. Over the past year, this tier has attracted a handful of loyal patrons who've greatly enjoyed their experience. However, it's also been a source of some unintended complications.

Foremost among these is the confusion it's caused for newcomers. We've noted instances of patrons enrolling in the $2 tier with the belief that it provided full access to all our offerings. When this turned out not to be the case, their frustration often led to immediate cancellations. Although we strive to clearly describe each tier upon sign-up, this issue has been recurrent specifically with the TEST AUDIENCE tier. We've also noted that this tier has a higher first-month cancellation rate compared to our other tiers, whether due to this confusion or other reasons.

A few months back, Patreon rolled out the free trial functionality, which we implemented for our $5 AUDIENCE MEMBER tier. This has been very well-received, and allows patrons to experience the platform for a week before committing financially, effectively rendering the "test" aspect of the $2 tier redundant.

Considering these factors, we've decided to discontinue the $2 TEST AUDIENCE tier for new patrons. Importantly - and we emphasize this - IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY SUBSCRIBED TO THE $2 TEST AUDIENCE TIER, YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND BENEFITS REMAIN UNCHANGED. You will continue to enjoy the same perks as before, and unless you choose to switch your tier or cancel your subscription, everything will remain as it is. However, if you leave this tier, returning to it will not be an option.

For those who wish to simply support us and be a part of our community, we're introducing a new tier: the EARLY ACCESS tier. Priced at $3, this tier provides early access to our YouTube videos, along with miscellaneous posts such as updates, pictures, etc.

This change takes effect immediately. Current patrons will not be affected, but should any questions or concerns arise, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

A couple other minor updates:

- We removed "exclusive live streams" from the benefits. We still plan on doing exclusive live streams when we can, but we weren't doing them often enough to justify it being listed as a benefit. 

- The $10 TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC tier now also offers the 7-day free trial. Patron's names in the credits won't begin until the first payment is made, but not having the trial discouraged new Patrons from signing up initially to this tier. 

TL;DR - the $2 TEST AUDIENCE tier has been phased out and replaced by the $3 EARLY ACCESS tier for new patrons. Current TEST AUDIENCE tier subscribers will not see any changes to their membership or benefits unless they decide to switch or cancel their subscription. Exclusive live streams are still planned but are no longer a listed Patreon benefit. $10 TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC tier now offers 7-day free trial for new patrons.
