Maybe I missed it somewhere, but are y'all not doing uncut reactions to the animated series.

I’ve never seen the animated series, and am now watching it solely based on your guys’ reactions. Also can’t wait to hear what you think of the movies!

The animated series is an odd one. One thing about the animated series is that I have hardly ever watched any of it compared to the original series. I think I have seen all of the animated series episodes, but I can't be certain. I think I recorded all the animated series episodes on VHS tapes 30 years ago. I have watched the original series as far back as I have memories. I have probably watched each the original series episodes 3 to maybe 25 times, but sometime it is difficult to count as sometimes I probably just saw partial episodes. It seems like I watched the original series episodes once or twice every 3 years when some new channel would air it in syndication. I don't think I saw the animated series until I was about 20, although I always knew about it and would see images of it in magazines. I think the animated series aired on MTV of all places when I first saw it. There were only a few television channels back then. One interesting part of the animated series is that James Doohan seems to act as the voice for almost all of the new unknown male characters while Majel Barrett voices most of the new unknown female characters. I think James Doohan voiced just over 50 different characters in the animated series. They used to go back and forth all the time about whether the animated series is canon. I think there are at least three notable voices to guest star in the series. You might watch out for those. The brown-haired transporter guy with the mustache was supposed to be Lieutenant Kyle; he was voiced by James Doohan in this episode. I think this was Kyle's last appearance in Star Trek until a brief scene in the movies and perhaps a re-imagining in the more recent series which I do not follow. I think author Alan Dean Foster, still alive at age only 76, fleshed out the animated series episodes in 10 books called Star Trek Logs between 1974 and 1978. It looks like they were last printed in 2006.

It of course wasn't Ralph's fault, but the network was looking for an excuse to fire him and jumped on that reason.

I’m pretty sure the idea for the life support belts first appeared in an early draft of “The Tholian Web,” but it was changed to spacesuits so they wouldn’t need another special effect. Sadly, that decision indirectly led to the firing of Ralph Senensky. The spacesuit scenes were scheduled to be filmed first, but the costume department hadn’t done the final fittings before the first shooting day. This naturally led to delays, for which Senensky was wrongfully blamed.

Yeah has a bit more of a Diablo 2 feel

I’ve only had time to play a little past the prologue but I love it so far

Josh (Target Audience)

Don't tease me like that. Also kind of busy with Diablo IV so no rush ;)

Will be up soon, possibly later today!

Josh (Target Audience)

I got all excited when I saw the email thinking it was Ep 3

I'm looking forward to watching your animated reactions, if only to get past them, and on to the films. That said, I am really enjoying the completionist nature of how you're doing this. It's really fun to see you guys take in every aspect of screen Trek.
