This was kind of transition show. There were not the season story arcs in so many shows that there are today. Everything was more episodic. Often I like the episodic shows better. But you kind of have to go with the fac that they are making fun of the high school stereotypes. None of the people are real. They are on a Hellmouth. Which explains why all this stuff can happen. You asked in the previous episode why the kid had the powers in the coma. Well they explained it. They said in the episode basically because they are on top of the hellmouth. Once you get that then the how is not such a question. So they did explain it albeit with a simple and convenient explanation.

2023-05-22 18:33:15 +0000 UTCThis is one of the episodes I remember because of the end. It is kind of an unbelievable plot. The last two an especially this one are like the after school specials of Buffy with lesson to learn about abuse and loneliness.

2023-05-22 18:27:59 +0000 UTCA lot to slog through for just a few moments of Snyder, Cordelia and Giles/Angel. Yet, still better than anything else on at the time. Competed against Mad About you, Home Improvement and JAG in the time slot. Netflix was founded in 1997 and wasn't a factor yet.
