POLL - Our Next 90-Minute Classic Reaction!

It is time to decide our next 90-Minute Classic reaction!

This reaction will be exclusive to Patreon, so keep in mind it will be a FULL UNCUT reaction, no edited version, so you will need access to the movie in order to sync and watch with us.

The reaction will be recorded and posted in February.

Feel free to comment any recommendation not on here for the next poll! ANY film you would consider a "classic" that is between 80-100 minutes!

The Fantastic Voyage was really cool when it came out. But if I had to vote for only one of your suggestions , however, it would have to be The Gods Must Be Crazy. I don't think I have ever laughed harder in my life.

Ricky Johnson

The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) 81 minutes Fantastic Voyage (1966) 100 minutes Duel (1971) 90 minutes Westworld (1973) 88 minutes The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) 109 minutes

I went with Abbot and Costello just because I don't think I've ever noticed anyone reacting to a movie like that.

Joe Concepts

I love The Omega Man! I remember catching it on TV as a kid in Junior High way back in the day, and even though I'm a wimp when it comes to scary movies, I make an exception when it comes to this genre. Dr. Strangelove is an important one to watch, so I'm fine if mine loses. I personally don't care for Peter Sellers though.

Brina Blue

Oh yea, I remember that now - seems so out of place these days.

Ricky Johnson

I've seen them all. They're all good in their own way. Hoping for either Omega Man or Legend. Ridley Scotts Legend has a real beauty to it and Omega Man has the king of 70s Sci Fi Charleton Heston. The flip side of Omega Man was Heston in Soylent Green another classic.

Sherman Lin

Same!

Rumpus Parable

yeah I'm for legend too but it is looking bad

Prof Moff

"Legend" is Legend- wait for it - dary. Tom Cruise as a kid, Tim Curry in the craziest makeup. Mia Sara... so nice.

Edweirdo

Princess Bride would definitely fit as an “Our Favorite Movies” reaction. We both love it!

Josh (Target Audience)

Out of all of these the only one I've seen in Dr. Strangelove, and it's the only one in my collection. I have little to no interest in the others. As for suggestions, I would suggest The Princess Bride, but I'm guessing at least one of you has already seen it. It comes in at just under 100 minutes.

KatWithAttitude

Yes it is to where it has an intermission at the halfway mark.

Brad Barter

Yeah I think 2001 is well over 90 minutes 😂 Maybe an “Our Favorite Movies” reaction one day

Josh (Target Audience)

We have seen the original

Josh (Target Audience)

No, it is “Legend”

There is so much background/history/trivia to learn when it comes to Dr. Strangelove. Several ties to Star wars. This is an odd dark comedy by one of the great directors. I want to add another Kubrick great, 2001, but I'm pretty sure it goes over the time budget.

Ricky Johnson

Very cheesy and somewhat stupid but a fun-watch for 1 time just the same.

Collin Freeman

I'm surprised no one mentioned Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), but if you do that one, you would HAVE to do the 1978 version as well which is over 90 minutes.

Collin Freeman

Just for future poll purposes, I should note that "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" (1979) is 89 minutes.

James H

If you don't mind subtitles then for the next Poll I recommend Lola Rennt (Run Lola Run) - German, 1998, 80 minutes.

Dion James Pitman

Please be Omega Man!!!! Also loved Last Man on Earth the Vincent Price version and I assume the last one is I am Legend?
