Your next episode, "By Any Other Name", contains probably the most disturbing scene in an original STAR TREK episode, at least since way back in "Charlie X" when Charlie completely removed the face of an Enterprise crewwoman.

2022-11-11 15:43:17 +0000 UTCNow you know why this one was controversial and banned in a few countries. This wasn't seen in Germany until the mid 90s. They weren't exactly subtle in naming characters. For instance, Chairman Eneg, Gene spelled backwards. Several people involved with the show, including Leonard Nimoy and Gene Roddenberry were Jewish. And this episode aired while Hogan's Heroes was on the air. Personally, I don't love or hate it. It's just...there.
