That one is very good. Star Trek Continues’ fourth episode also mentions the incident with the Farragut… but that too is for another time…

2022-09-18 13:12:34 +0000 UTCSome day, when you have time, I'd recommend watching a fan-made episode that is done SO well it actually looks like a Desilu production filmed on the Star Trek sets right alongside 'The Original Series itself: it references the USS Farragut and Capt. Garrovick's death with the cloud creature.... his nephew is a Starfleet captain in this 52-minute fan-made show (and this captain is also a cousin to the Ens. Garrovick seen in "OBSESSION"). It's called "Starship Exeter: The Tressaurian Intersection." And it's FREE to watch on YouTube.

I totally agree that Season 2 took a lot more risks, and the result was some awful episodes and some sublime episodes. And artistically, I think that's what you have to do. And on that subject . . . For the next one, "Wolf in the Fold" -- well, I don't want to bias you, but I don't think it's nearly a strong as this one. But Episode 15 will reward you. :)

But as you say, that's what makes this so great! There can be as many different opinions as there are people.

2022-09-15 18:35:56 +0000 UTCYou nailed it, Josh, as far as the quality of the episodes. I think season 2 is really a lot of peaks and valleys in terms of quality, but more valleys than season 1. When season 2 is good, it's very good. When it's not good, it's pretty bad.
