March Update [News] Let's go!

TL;DR: Gears are turning, rust is coming off. Expect chapter releases by April, May at the latest.

Good news: I found a job! It’s remote (great), part-time (great), and while it doesn’t quite cover everything (boo), it’s a solid start.

With that settled, I’m kicking off the legal process to officially register as self-employed (to avoid pissing off my country's version of the IRS). I also talked to an accountant, and they pointed me in the direction of a few govt programs (super great) that should make things more sustainable for at least a year, maybe two.

I’ve already started writing again now that I’m not hunting for work, but I’ll be holding off on reopening Patreon until I have a better sense of my new writing pace (and until al the legalese is dealt with). I also want to build a comfortable backlog to keep the schedule steady.

The paperwork is already in motion, so if all goes well (and the bureaucracy cooperates), Patreon should be back up by April. If delays happen (which, it's the govt, they might) then May will be the fallback.
