November update

Hi Serializd family! Been a while since the last Patreon update. As mentioned before, October involved improving Serializd behind-the-scenes. I'm happy to report that lots of bugs were fixed (the crash rate went from 2% to 0.5% on Android!) and the app runs much smoother than it did a month ago.

Translations are coming along nicely!

As you may know, I've been working on translating the app. Originally I had estimated this would take a few months, because I have to individually go through every single line of text on the app, and manually translate it. However, things have been progressing faster than I thought! I'm hoping to have translations finished (for mobile at the very least) by the end of the month 😄

New updates

Hi all! I've been working on a number of things, but I wanted to share one I'm excited about in the short term.

A huge problem people have had with Serializd is that logging things takes too much time. For example, in order to log an episode, you have to go to a Show, then a Season, then the Episode.

Of course some of this is just the nature of how TV works as a medium, but that doesn't mean the experience has to be bad.

Hi everyone, just wanted to give a quick update: Serializd is currently going through an outage. I'm working to fix this but it will take a couple of hours. I was planning on doing maintenance tonight anyway, so this work will blend into that.
