Male Protagonist needs a haircut!
Added 2020-05-07 15:41:40 +0000 UTCSo I think in Version 0.2, the male protagonist is bound to get a haircut! I thought I would throw this out there for fun and get feedback really quickly before Saturday! (when I project I will get to this scene) Here are some basic samples I just did while testing. A few things to keep in mind: this is just pure default hair with no editing, so I haven't tweaked hairlines or glossiness, etc. Male hair generally has way less ability to change poses and style versus females ones, so you are probably likely to see this hair as the standard unless he has to change his haircut due to story reasons. (for example there is a reason why some men are bald which may be a story option later perhaps)
So just vote on which one you like best! Or write a comment about what is good, bad, or even keeping him in longer hair! This is your chance to maybe influence who you might be starting at for future episode for a while. :) Go from top to bottom, so Hair 1 is just the top picture, going down.

I think I know where I am leaning between two choices, but happy to ask my lovely Patrons for feedback and thoughts about it!

5 seems the popular choice! I've tried it, and it looks good generally, my only minor issue with that one is some strands of hair kind of stick out here and there so it's got a slight messy look up close (You can't tell in the sample picture), but personally I kind of like that style of hair but for those that like perfectly manicured hair sticking down, it's hard to get that...(the haircut of 3 is an example where the hair is very tightly on the head so to speak) 5 can't adjust individual hair that way (only a few male hairs really can do this) so you kind of get what you get for the most part.

I think I am going to eliminate #4 because it just doesn't quite work well and I think it's a much older hair model maybe? With 5 and 6, I think I like 5 better with the actual hairstyle, but I really like 6's hairline a little better, how far down it is for a smaller forehead size. I may try and play with 5's hairline a little on Saturday. I haven't tested 1-3 yet more extensively and will try them and share anything useful, but thank you for the voting so far!
