Serial Content Preferences
Added 2023-07-26 03:48:05 +0000 UTCHey guys, I wanted to ask your opinion on a preference for how to go about posting ongoing content, like a series or something that's updated once or twice a week or something to that effect. For example, when I start posting Soap's Journal I think it makes more sense to have one master post to tie it all together, but then turn on notifications for updates. I also have run-on stories that are maybe less cohesive, like the "Farm Interlude" where Ghost and Soap lie low and spend a couple weeks on Soap's farm. Its just going to be a bunch of drawings, sketches, maybe some small comics. Would that sort of thing also be better off in the same format, with one master post that's updated with new content, OR post each thing separately? Because for that sort of thing you don't really need much context/etc. Same with AUs and stuff.
I have no idea what's preferred on this platform and what will annoy you guys the least lol. I don't want to spam your timelines but I also don't want it to be confusing or complicated to view new content.
So what would you prefer? Or if you have other ideas please let me know in the comments! :)

2023-07-26 15:07:03 +0000 UTCI agree with Apple, if you could number each post to its relevant order in the story, that would be great! But at the same time, you could do both?! Post the pieces individually but make a master list when the series is done ? Or something like you suggested: just a big master list with everything on it but with tags of the stories like titles and whatnot and simply update that but with no update notification? Could link the master list in the description of each post if it aint too much. Idk it really depends whats easier for you too ❤️

2023-07-26 06:30:50 +0000 UTCOkay yeah, this makes the most sense to me too. The tag system is unfortunately a bit of a mess, but I think tags combined with specific titles and stuff will work. I like the numbering system, that sounds really useful. Thank-you!

2023-07-26 03:55:51 +0000 UTCAs someome who's other two Primary People i give money to are comic makers (one is strictly a webcomic maker and the other mixes in comics with other content) i prefer indiv posts for each new addition with like a number on the title indicating what order it is! I think on patreon now u can also like.. tag or sort things kinda?
