Too many fans still romanticize Dexter. He's enjoyable to watch, very well played... but does he deserve a happy ending? I don't think so. Every spiraling situation is of his own making... and lives are ruined. But I'm sure the character keep living as long as the brand is a money maker.

It doesn't matter how many people know Dexter is the BHB, no one has any proof of it and there is no proof out there to be found to link him to anything. Even LaGuerta's death can't be pinned on him like they suggest by showing Angel pulling out her case file. Debra was the who killed her, not Dexter. If there was any evidence to be found it would point to her, not him. Dexter didn't panic to the point of killing an innocent person even when LaGuerta herself knew, there's no reason for him to panic here. Harrison is not a reason for him to become a fugitive, on the contrary. He's a huge reason for him to not do that and play it cool, get a lawyer and watch them scramble to fine any proof. Also: no, Ketamine is not the same as M99. The showrunner messed up and introduced this unnecessary plot hole.
