2025-03-12 12:42:01 +0000 UTCHonestly the first half of the season is really about world building and the show really takes it time to establish the world of the Sons. Who are they, how does the club operate and what life is like in Charming. The relationships between members and their roles, how they interact with law enforcement, rivals groups etc. SOA is in a way part of a different TV era where slow burns where more common, whereas now with the newer shows they try to grab your attention in the first episode or even the first few minutes. Which is fine of course but personally I really appreaciated how they did it because I knew absolutely nothing about this kind of world haha
