2025-02-18 19:30:10 +0000 UTCThe "Run" and "Stay" part was absolutely hilarious, one of the best of the series. For me this season has very good moments and very bad moments. Dexter and Deb will find out just how much they care for each other. Things will happen to him that never happened in 6 seasons !! And as always, he will have good decisions, bad ones...and very stupid ones 😂 but we'll forgive him...probably !

2025-02-18 19:27:13 +0000 UTCI'm no legal expert, but I'm pretty sure failing to properly read a suspect his Miranda rights doesn't automatically mean he's off the hook...just that anything he says under interrogation - Speltzer's confession in this case - would be inadmissible in court. Any other evidence would still be valid.

And Dexter saying “everything is within my control” does some psychotic. When he was mocking the guy by screaming fuck that was genuinely funny but also very terrifying.

2025-02-18 04:32:19 +0000 UTCPart of why Season 7 might be my favourite is because of how good every single storyline is. They’re doing A LOT already, and it’s all compelling. Add to that the fact that we have some of the most compelling characters of the show, like Isaak and Hannah, and it’s just a recipe for a banger season. I know Season 4 is the most beloved, but this one has always had a special place in my heart.

2025-02-18 01:45:06 +0000 UTCThe thing I really like about Deb knowing is that we spent 6 entire seasons in Dexter's head, hearing his reasonings, his code Harry gave him. But then Deb comes in and she pokes holes in it all, she pushes him about how bad this is for Harrison, how he put Rita in danger, that he's the reasons he died, how he thinks he's in control, but he's not and like yall said, Dexter sounds crazy. You get a real good look at what Dexter actually is because Debra now knows. It's all well and good, yeah he only kills other murderers but at the core of it all, that's not why he kills. He kills because, like so many of these other murderers, he *likes* it. Isaak... I love him. Along with Hannah, he's def in my top 5 Dexter characters. He's so different from all the other villains, I really enjoy seeing him on my screen. This is part of why I love season 7. They just introduced some of my favorite characters in the entire series this season.
