Hello Patrons
I can’t count how many times during this terribly brutal year I’ve had tears spring to my eyes thinking of how unfair it is that on top of everything Michael isn’t here to help us through with his insight and humor. This morning was of course another one of those times.
It has been a year full of such heart and soul breaking pain. Events and images that will forever change our hearts and souls for generations to come. And in all of that pain I have had the heart-bursting joy of welcoming my beautiful daughter Isla Micah into this world. I want to apologize for the long absence. I have taken some personal time to adjustive and enjoy life with my baby.
But I have been working on the documentary and I feel grateful that once it’s done there will be something to show her, and hopefully lots of other kids in the TMBS family, to try and explain who her uncle was and what was so meaningful about his work.
But I am going to need all of your help to finish it! I am going to start posting asking for help gathering various clips and looking for your answers to questions about his work. And here is the first of many asks:
Please send me the clips or moments that most stood out or influenced you, or what you share most with others from Michael’s work. An interview, quote, impersonation, anything. lisha.tmbs@gmail.com

The Majority Report asked me to select a clip for their show tomorrow honoring Michael on what would have been his 41st birthday on August 13th. They also asked me to write a little bit about why I selected the video I did and I wanted to share that writing as well as the full video with you all. So here goes.
There are so many videos of Michael laughing so hard that he can barely speak and I'm grateful to have every single one of them. When I watch them I love to see the joy on his face and it feels like we are hanging out, cracking each other up. But the videos I might cherish the most are from the last year of his life. They are the recording of the Mill Series he hosted at Lafayette College, the event that his “it’s not complicated" clip is from, and his last live stream from July 16, 2020. In these two videos I feel his deep love and compassion as he talks to his audience. And I see the even more clear and confident man he was growing into. He feels unstoppable in the videos to me. And his words, especially at the end of the last live stream, which is the clip I selected for today, make me feel safe. Like he has a plan and all of this human inflicted hell and suffering will end and we will all be ok. I love you Michael! Happy birthday! Free Palestine!
Thank you Patrons!

The TMBS ReAir project was created to give people who discovered Michael's work towards the end of his life or after his passing a weekly place to access his work without feeling overwhelmed by the volume of content they missed, as well as continuing to give grieving friends, family and fans their Tuesday evenings with Michael.
While the majority of the content and analysis on TMBS has stayed relevant and timeless, please remember some of the guest's work and subject matter on the show is very much linked to the time when the show first aired. The appearance of some guests on TMBS does not constitute an endorsement of those guests’ current work.
