Such a beautiful classic! β€οΈπŸ˜‡πŸͺ½πŸŽ„

I love watching 1st time reactions to this at Christmas time. And R&T were more than worth the wait. I didn't expect R & T to know it... but I'm always surprised by how many American reactors have no clue what the Bank run scene was all about. It was the Great Depression... Bank runs caused by panic were not unusual.

πŸ’—I watch this movie every year and always cry. Great reaction!

Mr. Potter was played by Lionel Barrymore. The Barrymores (siblings Lionel, Ethel, & John) were considered acting royalty in their day. Drew Barrymore is the granddaughter of the legendary John Barrymore... and Lionel is her great Uncle.

Yup! Rear Window (1954) and Vertigo (1958) are great

Now you need to watch some more James Stewart and he is in lots of Hitchcock films which are great as well

Wow I’ve never seen this movie before it’s pretty good for a 1940’s movie seeing him unravel was really intriguing to watch. As someone who’s always wanted nothing more than to escape their home town I was able to relate to him a lot. Such a great ending though it was very wholesome

"Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings!" Or as my dad would always say whenever this movie came on TV, "Every time a boxing bell rings, a Victoria's Secret Angel gets her wings!" after which my mom would punch him and they'd get into an argument....they're divorced now... Seriously though, probably one of the most classic feel-good movies ever made. Nominated for 5 Oscars including Best Picture...didn't win any (though they did get a technical Academy Award for inventing a new method of simulating falling snow).

I've watched this movie every year since I was little. It's timeless and so impactful. It also goes to show that you really don't need nonstop action or cgi to tell a relatable & compelling story. Just a wonderful story with wonderful actors. Jimmy Stewart is one of the greats. I mean, the way he can convey emotions with his face. The zoom in when they tell him that they'll sell to Potter if he leaves... you just feel everything he feels. Throughout. I quote this movie a lot... Zuzu's petals... My mouth's bleeding, Bert, my mouth's bleeding.... I wish I had a million dollars - hot dog! And I always cry at... 'To my big brother, George - the richest man in town.'

Well said, Heidi! Donna Reed is also amazing as Mary, esp. her non-verbal acting!

It's a Wonderful Life- Thank you so very much for watching this incredible and beautiful Christmas classic I love so much for me and everyone, Rob and Trin!! I truly appreciate it, and I am so happy that you really loved this movie as well!! :) I love George Bailey's character, and I absolutely love Jimmy Stewart in this role of George Bailey. Jimmy Stewart is a fabulous actor, and his most famous and iconic role is most definitely here in this classic from 1946. George is such a good and kindhearted man who sacrifices all of his dreams to help everyone else he loves, then nearly loses everything in a sad twist of fate. I absolutely love seeing how everyone in their town comes together in the end to help George and his family when they need them all the most, as they show their gratitude for all George has done for them all. It's so beautiful, and seeing George come to see how much he's done for everyone is incredible! "No man is a failure who has friends." These words are more true than we could ever hope to understand. This is why it is so important to love and be kind to everyone around us, without any expectations for rewards in return. And George most certainly lived his life this way. I also love Clarence, and how he helps George come to see how much of an impact his life has truly made on everyone throughout Bedford Falls, by making it so that George had never been born so that George can see the truth, with another angel's help, of course. The message throughout this movie is so beautiful and powerful. Because we all impact each others' lives in ways we couldn't possibly ever begin to understand. And George truly is a given a beautiful gift when he does come to see for himself how much he is loved by so many people. Everyone is wonderful throughout this movie. I love George and Mary, as well as their kids, Clarence, George's kid brother, Harry, Uncle Billy, and all of their friends. Especially Bert the cop and Ernie the taxi driver. And I even love Old Man Potter... a character I love to hate. A brilliant actor from back in this time. Thank you so very much once again for reacting to It's a Wonderful Life for us all, my friends!! I absolutely love watching your reactions for this movie, and I loved listening to your commentaries too. It's a Wonderful Life most certainly touches my heart every time I watch it, just as it touches everyone's hearts who watch this beautiful and powerful movie. And I have watched this movie many, many, many times, from ever since I was a little girl. And not just at Christmas time, even though this movie hits us the most when watched at Christmas time, most certainly. And I hope you both know how much your kindness, joy, and all your efforts here on your channel mean to me. You're wonderful, Rob and Trin! Thank you once more for all you do for us!! :) Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!! :) Sincerely, Heidi

β€œWhy do we have to have all these kids?” That line makes me choke up every time
