Season 1 of JJ won both of the prestigious Hugo & Peabody Awards. Jessica, the relationships, the villain, the aesthetic, the stakes and the dark issues... are all just so deeply compelling.

Mutants are born with the x-gene that has the ability for them to have some sort of powers or abilities." (nerd glasses off)

2024-12-09 10:17:48 +0000 UTCI like how this show reveals its mysteries bit by bit...like a true film noir. It keeps you guessing and wanting more. And this last episode had a lot of shots through windows or from behind something in the foreground in a very voyeuristic manner...almost as if it was foreshadowing the reveal that Kilgrave was spying on Jessica.

I like how βmutantsβ people with powers are being shown more in this show, it felt weird that there wasnβt even a mention of mutants in daredevil.
