And it had the perfect ending...witty callbacks and morsels of wisdom that are memorable. I guess you can say I'm ready to let this one go. Oh, and The Leftovers is a great show - highly recommend it...

Watching with you week to week is my third time watching through and the emotional punches hit just as hard (if not harder) because you love spending time with these characters and seeing their growth. IMO an almost perfect show.

It’s sad that they moved on but it is poetic and sweet, they spent thousands of years in the afterlife together. I love that Jason spent probably thousands of years sitting in a forest. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

It is wild that a show that is basically about existential angst and philosophy was even made, Mike Schur has an incredible track record for his shows with the American version of the Office, Parks and Rec, The Good Place, and Brooklyn 99. Dude is involved in some great shows. Particularly Parks and Rec and the Good Place will elevate my mood a few notches if my depression gets on top of me. One of my favorite bits from this last episode is when we find out Jason was just waiting in that glade so he could give the necklace to Janet. It is emblematic of that character, and the gag where describes waiting there 1000 bearimies having basically become Xian Yu the Monk in the end and not being aware of it. Then the "Hey Chidi, wait up!" as bounds through the door kinda carefree. Last couple episodes gets me choked up every time. Glad you watched an enjoyed it.
