FIRST TIME WATCHING: PAUL (2011)

Comments

I am so glad to be back on Patreon, so many movies to catch up on

Chris Reed

Great movie !

Lee Shafer

I know you are familiar with the differences in American States, but for anyone else interested in what we have to offer, there is a fantastic and fun film titled "Stephen Fry in America". He visits every US state in a London Cab. Some states he only visits briefly, but others he really explores the good and the bad. Really fun to travel with him.

Cindy

Great movie, great reaction!

Illia Kamenetskyi

"Close Encounters" should be added to their movie reaction list.

The "Ale'Inn" is a real place. Right on the edge of Area 51 in the Nevada desert in a town called Rachel. " https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g45991-d125350-Reviews-or250-Little_A_Le_Inn-Rachel_Nevada.html#/media/125350/?albumid=101&type=0&category=101 "

Iโ€™ve recently been watching bad friends podcast recently which he is apart of and never noticed he was in a lot of movies I grew up watching that man is hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚ his best cameo was in Pineapple Express

G.C

I thought i had seen this movie but apparently only knew some references and saw a scene or two. Hehe enjoyed it a lot

Jenny Lee Villanueva

The actress you recognized playing Tara is Blythe Danner. She is also Gwyneth Paltrow's mother. Also, the setting for spaceship arrival at end of film where Paul said you will know it when you see it, is Devil's Tower Wyoming. That was the location for spaceship arrival in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. There were a lot of Steven Spielberg references in Paul.

Cindy

Pretty good movie, I never even heard of it until now. Also as an American itโ€™s actually one of my dreams to get an RV and travel cross country with a few friends

James

Am I seeing things or is that Bobby Lee as the taxi guy yelling "FUCKING ORCS" at the beggining ๐Ÿ˜‚ Nice to see this movie again, it was my first encounter with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost at the time and a huge part of why I got interested in movies as a whole, just because I heard about the Cornetto trilogy and Edgar Wright after watching it. I just wouldn't love cinema and "behind the scenes" things as much as I do today if it weren't for this movie, I'm only realising this now haha

roncelune

I'm halfway through the reaction and Simon Pegg wakes up in the RV in one scene wearing an Invincible T shirt! That show needs to be added to the list to watch! I don't want to spoil anything, but I'll say that it's based off a comic series written by Robert Kirkman (creator of The Walking Dead comics). You'd recognize a lot of the voice actors. Edit: also lol at there being sailors at a bar in Wyoming.

Landon DuVall

bunch of ass fuckers are happy now
