Dexter: S4E09 - Hungry Man

My God, the scene where Arthur terrorizes his family to the point that makes Dexter grab him and wants to k*ll him on the spot , in front of other people too... Gives me so many chills ( then tears in my eyes almost immediately after that) seeing Dexter, the guy usually so calm and emotionless, going in absolutely beast mode and throwing away every precaution he ever had, just to make sure he stops that maniac. One of my top 3 scenes on Dexter for sure !

Nah don’t be hating on sweet potato casserole the toasted marshmallows pull the entire meal together

James

Same here, but without the butter...though sometimes it'd be in a casserole with green beans.

Michael Celia

You don't know my family lol...plus the company I work for always caters a Thanksgiving dinner for us so it's one less thing to worry about.

Michael Celia

I'm thankful for no sweet potato casserole in my household growing up. My mom only made sliced sweet potato with melted brown sugar & butter on top.

Octavia

As scary & disturbed as Arthur is... I don't think he's doing anything sexual with his younger daughter, Rebecca. If anything he wants to keep her a sweet young girl. She's was just willing to do whatever to get a guy to take her away. But that's the thing with domestic abuse... they want to leave, but they spend so much time covering it up that they also feel defensive of it.

Octavia

Thanksgiving is huge but bigger than Christmas? nah not even close.

HeauxHalter

Jeez, you can't suck it up for one evening?

HeauxHalter

Ugh, the "everyone say what they're thankful for" tradition is one I can't stand. I always volunteer to work on Thanksgiving purely to get out of familial obligations and avoid that kind of stuff. BTW, the marshmallows are on top of sweet potato casserole. Apparently, it's a weird American thing.

Michael Celia

Not really relevant to the episode but as an American I do think Christmas is like the #1 celebrated holiday here thanksgiving is really just an excuse to eat an excessive amount of food It’s crazy to see how traumatized trinity’s family is, the fear on all of their faces and the desperation to get away is insane. Seeing him get dragged around by Dexter was so satisfying I need him to go now, the rage that Dexter was feeling must have been insane for him to act like that in front of other people

James

I love Halloween episode in s4, nice story turns. One of my favorite from whole series, it's hard to forget their family party dinners and how different they are.

Julia

I am happy I have such a bad memory because I was as shocked as Rob & Trin with that reveal. I figured it was probably her who killed Lundy but I couldn’t have imagined that she was linked to Arthur.

Kamanda Hickey

Ah, looking forward to this reveal.

Octavia

This episode is intense. Probably one of the best episodes and definitely one of the episodes I remember most of all. From everything that happens at both Thanksgivings to the final moment reveal. Just a true jawdrop through the whole episode.

minkit

WTF!!! was not expecting that reveal.

Bradley Weeks

Getting close! 😊😊😊😊

This is the episode I've been waiting for!
